Punyalla, Doda | June 2026
The annual Shri Chound Mata Yatra 2026 was completed successfully with great religious fervor and devotion. The sacred pilgrimage commenced from Korora and concluded at the holy shrine of Shri Chound Mata Temple, Punyalla Top. The yatra witnessed an overwhelming response from devotees, with approximately 2,000 pilgrims participating this year.
Devotees from different parts of Doda and adjoining areas joined the pilgrimage to seek the blessings of Maa Chound Mata. Throughout the journey, devotees chanted religious hymns and bhajans, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere.
The Yatra Committee expressed gratitude to all devotees, volunteers, local residents, administration officials, police personnel, and social organizations who contributed to the smooth and successful conduct of the pilgrimage.
The successful completion of the yatra once again reflects the deep faith and devotion of the people towards Maa Chound Mata and highlights the growing significance of this annual religious event in the region.
